DO-178B/C Consultancy and Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) Services

Within the scope of the PROVEN Consultancy and CVE Services, our teams provide an independent checking function for DO-178B and DO-178C compliance in safety critical software products. In this concept, PROVEN provides guidance for certification process within the scope of DO-178B and DO-178C. 

DO-178B/C is accepted as mandatory certification standard and guideline to determine software safety in airborne systems. In addition to following CVE responsibilities;

  • Reviewing software development artifacts, in communication with software team members,
  • Carrying out Pre-SOI audits,
  • Preparing Pre-SOI audit reports and presenting it to authority,
  • Following the status of Pre-SOI and SOI action items,
  • Serving as a certification contact point;
    • Managing authority requests by serving as a bridge between the design team and the authority
